Jet Lag: the feeling of tiredness and confusion that people experience after making a long journey in an aircraft to a place where the time is different from the place they left.
air sick, plane sick, boat sick, ride sick, car sick..you name it i get it. Which is why I was extremely worried about the 9 hour flight to Poland from the US before the 1 hour flight to Milan and vice versa on the way back.

Drugs are the answer, sleeping pill, anti nausea pill, anti nausea patch and you will be golden (confidence helps too..if you think you're going to get sick you WILL get sick) . Its also extremely important to stay hydrated and watch what you eat the entire day previous to leaving, stick with light foods. MAKE SURE you eat the food they offer you on the airplane, on the way to Poland from the US i woke up to eat both of the meals they offered me and it helped me to feel a lot more comfortable in the long run even though i wasn't hungry. On the way home i slept through both of the meals and the result was extreme nausea. Your body needs food now more than ever with it being so confused on the time of day and how it should be functioning.
There were 5 year olds on my flight who seemed to handle the situation better than i did. (Probably because the flight attendants handed out crayons and coloring books to them!..I can't be sure but if i had crayons and a coloring book I may have stayed awake long enough to eat both meals on the way home…but we'll never know. )
