Pre-Departure Meeting

I just got out of the pre-departure study abroad meeting, and I am on such a high. Its amazing to me that in a little under 3 months I will be on my way to Europe for 5 months.

Meeting the people going with me made me even more stoked for the trip, we fed off of each other’s excitement and the start of Spring Semester has essentially turned into the Christmas after Christmas for us. The people I’ve met seem like they’re just as adventure seeking and full of wanderlust as myself.  We joked around about the late nights and adventures to France, morocco, and Portugal, and discussed weekend trips to Barcelona. These lighthearted conversations will be reality in no time.

When we walked out of the meeting there was a glowing rainbow, and the pavement was wet and reflecting the light from the setting sun. I walked out with two of my new acquaintances and we all took a moment to breathe in the start of this new journey. Time will fly from here.
