head towards the sky
If you want to find a good view in Granada all you need to
do is take a road leading up. Honestly, you can be coming from anywhere in the
city and as long as you’re heading towards the sky you're guaranteed a breath
taking sight, especially if you’re lucky enough to catch the sun setting. Every
day the city is getting smaller and more familiar to me and I’m finding my way,
I’m glad I’m giving it a chance. Its scary to get lost in a place you’ve never
been where they speak a language you’re not fluent in, but its also an
adventure and a great test of skill when asking for (and most importantly
understanding) directions.
My second day of classes went well, I’m not used to doing
all of the improv my professor has us do in class. Also. Occupational Therapy
is not a thing over here, when I explained it to my host family and teachers
they all thought I would be trying to help people find jobs they wanted…..which
is not the case.
Tonight was a journey, turning every which way to bring us
to somewhere we’ve never been before (not too hard at this point). The sun was
setting over the city with the mountains in the background. I was with new
friends full of spirit talking about our love of travel, I don’t think I would change a thing.
